Japan locks hundreds of young forwards in a ruthless training program to manufacture the most egoistic striker in the world.

Story synopsis

A hunger‑games style football experiment where only the most selfish striker survives.

Blue Lock begins after Japan loses badly at the World Cup. To fix the “problem of Japanese strikers,” a radical coach named Ego Jinpachi creates a prison‑like training camp where talented forwards are forced to battle each other for the single spot as Japan’s future ace. Yoichi Isagi, an average high school forward who once passed instead of shooting, enters the facility and slowly awakens a sharp, analytical ego on the field.
